De-constructed landscapes

Collection of unique wall hangings by Justyna Medon inspired by film photography by Mani Swiatek.

Each hanging is made of approximately 496 pieces of recycled wallpaper, printed and stitched together.
De- constructed landscapes investigate colour, texture, imagery and de-construct their order.

Running away from the pattern was one of the main goals, the secondary was to create a new hanging from a waste wallpaper offcuts.

Project completed as part of print scholarship awarded by Spike Print Studio and Bristol UWE.

Exhibition opens on 15.05.2019 – Bower Ashton, Block F
